The River Rec Queen's Pageants started in 1968 and ran consecutively until 2001. Under the new directorship of Pat Miller, a professional pageant director and 40+ year Gallia Countian, this event is full of fun and excitement for everyone!
Our Royalty will have the opportunity to visit other fairs and festivals while learning social and public speaking skills. The Gallipolis River Rec Festival Pageants help our contestants to grow in self-confidence while preparing for the future.
Pageants will be held prior to the festival at the beautiful Arial Opera House in downtown Gallipolis, as we want our contestants to compete in an environment that is weather friendly and comfortable for their guests to enjoy. Admission tickets for guests will be available for purchase starting May 1 and can be purchased by clicking on the links below.
Contestants will compete according to the grade they are in as of May 1 of pageant year.
